It is bitter sweet that this is the last album ever from the David Crowder Band. It’s sad seeing one of my most favorite contemporary Christian artist’s leave the spotlight, but I am excited for this new album. There are many unique styles and genres within the album. You will go from a track with lots of build and intense-moving worship and the next will be a country hoedown. That is what makes Crowder Band’s music so good and appealing. It captures a broad spectrum of listeners. Make sure to check out the new album Give Us Rest, right here on Freshlife Radio. – Jesse

I remember when I heard that Paper Route was working on a new album. Thought process went as follows:
1. Read about new album.
2. Scream with giddy excitement.
3. Ride around the room on a unicorn wearing roller skates.
4. Listen to “Absence” over and over and over.
5. Round two on the unicorn.
6. Think about new Paper Route album.
7. Cry.
8. Listen to “Absence” again.
9. Wait FOREVER to hear of a release date for the new album.
10. Lose hope.
11. Put away unicorn on roller skates for another day.
12. Cry.
13. Download the new single “Better Life“.
14. Scream with giddy excitement.
15. Frolic around room while throwing glitter into the ceiling fan.
16. Listen to “Better Life” over and over and over.
17. Think about new Paper Route album.
18. Soul explosion.
I think that about sums it all up. I’m sure I’ll lose hope and cry when the album doesn’t release as soon as I’d like it to, but when it does come out you can bet your bottom dollar that I’ll be first one in the figurative virtual line to purchase it.
This is currently my favorite song on the radio. This is by far the most anticipated music on my list for this year… and unfortunately the full album wont even be out until 2012.

He has done it again. Phil Wickham’s album Response just released this October 4, 2011. I can’t get enough of this album. My current favorite song is “At Your Name” co written with worship leader and song writer, Tim Hughes. They both wanted to write a song that people could sing to and really grasp the chorus. “Lord of all the earth we shout your name. filling up the skies with endless praise. Yahweh Yahweh…” This is one of the greatest worship albums I have listened to. I find myself always listening to it. Make sure to tune in and listen to Response played right here on Freshlife Radio.

Let’s take a trip back through time real quick. We’re going to take it all the way back to a Monday. It was September 19th and I can’t think of a better way to kick off the week than with all the new music that was sure to be headed my way. On September 19th Gungor released their second album Ghosts Upon the Earth.
I don’t own their first release, Beautiful Things, but I know many of the songs off of that album and do love them very much. Going into this album I wasn’t expecting such instrumental creativity and I was absolutely blown away by the lyrics of some of the songs. If you’re looking for the kind of lyrics that move you to the depths of your soul, then go no further than this album. I have been so encouraged while listening to Brother Moon and Crags and Clay. “All praises to the one who made it all and finds it beautiful. All praises. Fearfully and wonderfully and beautifully made.” Let’s jump forward a bit. Now it’s September 20th. Needtobreathe released The Reckoning
Fact: I wasn’t always a fan of Needtobreathe. Fact: I have never really been a fan of country music. Fact: After I sat down and listened to The Outsiders all by myself I finally “got” Needtobreathe. I finally understood why it was okay to enjoy this type of music. So, with that said, as soon as The Reckoning released it was being downloaded to my iTunes. This is a great album and that’s a fact.

Vise Verses = one word. Amasome. well maybe two. Amazing and Awesome put together. “The War Inside” is definitely one of my favorite tracks. It has an edge to it, but still holding the signature Switchfoot sound. Its in your face. Rocking. and oh yeah, Amasome. To hear “The War Inside” and other great songs off the album Vise Verses is now streaming live on Freshlife Radio.
